WHY DID I CHOOSE MY MAJOR?

 

Hello, today I am going to be talking about how I ended up studying anthropology.

When I was a child I didn’t have a dream job, I just wanted to have money. But since I started attending school, history class became my favorite subject. Later on, in high school, they made us choose elective subjects; so I chose the humanistic ones. That decision made me realize which knowledge field I like and fit the most. The problem was that there is a lot of different options within that field, so I wandered between sociology, political science, a history major and anthropology. But I couldn't really make a decision; I even thought of becoming a film major.

Finally, after slowly getting rid of the options one by one, I made up my mind and chose anthropology (I guess I won't be able to accomplish my dream of being rich). A decision I don't actually regret, but as any other experience in life, has had good and bad moments.
